The Detroit Red Wings' woes at home continued Tuesday night.

Devin Setoguchi and Andrew Ladd scored in the shootout and Ondrej Pavelec made 41 saves through regulation and overtime to lead the Winnipeg Jets to a 3-2 victory at Joe Louis Arena.

Pavel Datsyuk scored two power-play goals and Jimmy Howard made 19 saves for the Red Wings, but it wasn't enough to prevent a sixth straight loss on home ice (0-1-5). Detroit's past four games at Joe Louis Arena have gone past regulation.

Bryan Little and Zach Bogosian scored in regulation for Winnipeg (9-9-2), which has won three in a row and four of its past five. The Jets are 4-1 in shootouts this season, including a 5-4 win against the San Jose Sharks on Sunday.

"Pavelec really put his best foot forward in the game to help us win the game," Winnipeg coach Claude Noel said.

Pavelec watched Datsyuk miss wide in the opening round of the shootout, then stopped Todd Bertuzzi in the third round to seal the victory after Setoguchi and Ladd scored in the first two rounds. Daniel Alfredsson had the lone goal for Detroit in the breakaway competition.

Little gave the Jets a 1-0 lead 7:10 into the game. With the teams at even strength, Blake Wheeler carried the puck into the Red Wings' zone before sending a nifty cross-ice feed to Little, who one-timed it from the left circle past Howard. It was Little's team-leading 11th goal of the season.

"It gets a little tiring playing overtime games but the shootouts are going for us," Little said.

Detroit tied it at 14:44 on Datsyuk's eighth goal of the season. After Jets forward Mark Scheifele was penalized for hooking, Henrik Zetterberg sent a feed from the left circle across the slot to Datsyuk, who snapped a shot over Pavelec for a power-play goal.

The Red Wings outshot the Jets 16-8 in the opening period.

"They came hard and we made mistakes to take some penalties on the power play," Pavelec said.

After a scoreless second period, Bogosian put Winnipeg back in front at 10:47 of the third. Bogosian, who had not scored a goal this season, was left alone in the slot where he took a nice feed from Olli Jokinen, then made a nifty move around Kyle Quincey before firing a wrist shot past Howard.

But the lead was short-lived. Datsyuk tied it with his second power-play goal of the night at 13:11. Fifty seconds after Jets forward Evander Kane was whistled for high sticking, Datsyuk pounced on Johan Franzen's rebound, stuffing it past Pavelec and over the goal line to make it 2-2.

Detroit outshot the Jets 16-2 in the third period.

"It's tough when we don't get two points," Zetterberg said. "We did a lot of good things and today I think we played solid defense, created enough chances to win and Howie (Howard) played good enough to win the game, but we can't find a way to go all the way. It's frustrating. It's tough. We want to win, but right now we can't find a way."

Winnipeg was given a 4-on-3 power play in overtime after Red Wings defenseman Jakub Kindl was penalized for slashing Kane at 3:56. But the Jets were unable to convert and finished 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Detroit went 2-for-4 on the power play.

"We didn't win, but I thought we played good. I liked our game today, start to finish. We made some mistakes," Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said.

"But I liked our penalty kill, I liked our power play, I liked our game. I feel real good. I know we'd like to get the second point, but I liked the way we played. To me it's going in the right direction. It's real positive game for us."
