Sproul suffered a spiral fracture in his left forearm against the Sarnia Sting on October 6 and is resultantly expected to miss 8-12 weeks of action. Prior to his injury, Sproul led all OHL defensemen in scoring with nine points (1G-8A) in seven games played. Despite missing their star blue-liner, Sault Ste. Marie continues to sit atop the West Division standings with a record of 6-4-0.
