The Golden Gophers suffered their first loss of the season this past Friday night, dropping a 5-3 decision to Michigan Tech in Houghton. Minnesota rebounded the following day, defeating the Huskies by a score of 3-2 with Marshall assisting on the game-opening tally. After taking on the U.S. National U18 team in exhibition action on Friday, the Golden Gophers will face Canisius on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm in a game that will be broadcast live on FOX Sports North as well as WCCO-AM 830.
